We launched our Leather Care Kit in May 2023 and the response has been phenomenal! Over the years, our customers have approached us many times, asking our advice on taking care of their leather goods. So creating a DIY at-home Leather Care Kit had been on our minds for a couple of years now.
It's simple really. You need an easy, safe and effective way to clean and condition your leather goods. The Leather Care Kit consists of two products - our own all-natural Leather Balm and a gentle cleansing Saddle Soap.
Unlike many other leather cleaning products, our products contain no harsh chemicals, solvents or volatiles.
The Leather Balm is made with unbleached, authentic beeswax and 100% pure almond oil. As you can imagine, it can be safely applied by hand, and works wonders on your skin too. A soft cotton rag works well too.
The Saddle Soap is to be applied by creating a lather with a small amount of water on an applicator brush, very much like a shaving brush. And then applied all over your product. You can also replace the brush with a simple cotton rag.
Clean your leather article whenever it looks dirty or grimy. And always follow up with the Leather Balm to make the leather supple and protect it from the elements. If your leather article sees use everyday, you must follow the Care Regimen once every 4-6 months.
