We hand stitch our wallets with a single thread and two needles - This technique is called saddle stitching. Hermés is one of the very few luxury brands that stitches their bags using the saddle stitching technique.

With some love & care, they will stand by your side for the rest of your life

We recommend that you clean and condition your leather goods every 6 months, or sooner if necessary. Never use harsh chemicals or detergents. Do not leave out in high heat environments (over 45C) for prolonged periods of time.

Wallet is just ok, experience with team is fantastic

Overall, the wallet is good. However, when one is paying a big premium, one expects the best in terms of quality, finish and materials.

Wallet falls short on all 3- there are fatty spew spots in more than one area of the wallet, which indicates bad leather material. Burnishing on the edges is not done properly as you can clearly see it is not seamless. Finally, there are two spots on the wallet edges where the finishing has led to tears in the leather.

The experience with the team has been really good. They are available to answer all queries and ensure you are informed.

We are extremely sorry about your experience.

This is worrying to us because we take great pride in each and every
wallet that we ship.. A wallet with those spots, should not have gone
out to you. I do the final quality check, and that is not a mistake I
usually make. Sorry about that. Since 2015, we have received only four
reviews below a 4-star rating. Yours is one of them.
Fatty spews that cannot be buffed off and the tears in the leather are
very alarming. While it is possible this didn't get caught before
shipping, it would also help if we could take a look at this issue
with the wallet in front of us.

Would you like to ship the wallet back to us so that we can take a
closer look at it? Since you are not 100% satisfied with the wallet's
quality, we will be happy to offer you a replacement. Let us know what
you decide.

PS: I can assure you it is good quality leather. It's possible that
those spots are just beeswax deposits from the leather balm we apply
on the wallets before shipping out that were not polished well enough.

A great quality wallet, and a very affordable price. It's bigger than I expected, and I prefer minimalist wallets, but still great.
